Contentious Probate

A Will can be challenged for a number of reasons. For example, a family member or other interested party might feel that they have not been fairly treated in the Will. 

Alternatively, the claimant may suspect that the Will was made under duress or without proper legal formalities – both reasons that could result in a Court ruling to decide whether the Will is invalid. 

If your Will is challenged, this will be extremely distressing for all involved and may result in the permanent breakdown of family relationships. 

A claim against your Estate will also delay the administration of your Estate and result in your loved ones becoming burdened with years- long litigation, rather than grieving and moving on.
